Kit Roes is non-executive Director Biostatistics and Clinical Development Strategy of Julius Clinical Research.
He started his career and initial research in industrial statistics. His experience includes over 15 years of biostatistics in research and development in the pharmaceutical industry and life sciences. He was head of Biometris of Wageningen University and Research Centre, successfully bringing together the academic mathematical and statistical unit of Wageningen University and the contract research unit Biometry of Plant Research international. His scope and responsibilities increased over time, from senior statistician in clinical development at NV Organon in various therapeutic areas, to Vice-President Global Clinical Infromation. This included global responsibility for statistics, data management and medical writing as well as business representation for clinical IT. With the integration of Organon into Schering-Plough, he became globally responible for Early Stage Statistics in the new company. Furthermore, he is Professor of Biostatistics at the University Medical Center Utrecht, The Netherlands.
He is Vice-President and former President of the European Federation of Statisticians in the Pharmaceutical Industry and President of the Dutch section Pharmaceutical Statistics and Data Management. |
