Marc Bonten is Associated Scientist of Julius Clinical Research.
Marc Bonten, MD, is trained as Infectious Disease specialist and Clinical Microbiologist.
He is Professor of Molecular Epidemiology of Infectious Diseases, and  head of the department of Medical Microbiology, at the University Medical Center (UMC) Utrecht, the Netherlands. He is a 2006 VICI laureate. Since end of 2008, he has supervised 12 PhD students and is involved in the supervision of 20 PhD students. 
He holds a shared position within the departments of Internal Medicine & Dermatology, UMC Utrecht, and the Julius Center.
