Saskia Ruis is Director Training & Compliance of Julius Clinical Research.
She started her career as a registered oncology nurse. Her experience includes over 14 years in clinical research at investigational sites and in the pharmaceutical industry.
She was a Site Coordinator at a Site Management Organization specialized in osteoporosis and cardiovascular trials and afterwards expanded her experience in clinical research at Novartis Pharma BV, the Netherlands. Her responsibilities and scope increased over time from Clinical Research Associate and Project Manager on large international cardiovascular, oncology and neuroscience trials to Training Manager for the Medical Department.
She further specialized in the training and development of clinical trial staff and in the area of regulatory requirements as a Trainer/Resources manager at Smelt Training & Development, providing training for several CRO's, pharmaceutical and biotechnical companies and developing a CRA development program.
At Julius Clinical Research, she is responsible for the training policy within Julius Clinical Research, the training plans for international projects and for the compliance management programs. |
