Ton Gardeniers is a member of the Supervisory Board of Julius Clinical Research.
He has degrees from the School of Advanced International Studies of Johns Hopkins University, USA, and the University of Leiden, the Netherlands.
Ton Gardeniers was Head of Corporate Finance for Rabobank North America based out of New York from 1996 to 1998. He has acted for clients in numerous different transactions across a range of sectors including medical technology, pharmaceuticals and consumer. After this, Ton Gardeniers was a Senior Investment Director with Gilde Investment Management in the Netherlands, responsible for the establishment and direction of several biotech related venture capital funds. From 2001, he built and ran ABN AMRO Group's Global Investment and Corporate Banking business in Healthcare, and its various subsectors, such as Pharmaceuticals and Biotech, Medical Technology and Medical Services. By the fall of 2008, he built this to a Euro 180 million business.
Besides his position at Julius Clinical Research, Ton Garderniers holds board positions at AMREF Flying Doctors and the African Healthcare organisation. He further advises the IQ+ Group on the commercialisation of a number of medical device patents.
