The department Planning and Process architecture (PPA) is a group of internal consultants with different backgrounds playing a key role in the company. Their goal is to improve the efficiency of large clinical trials, and to identify and implement better ways of working within the entire organization. The team has a strong focus on quantitative analysis and has proven to deliver significant improvements in the past.

Manager Planning and Process Architecture

 

Tasks and responsibilities

The main focus of the job will be to optimize the working processes within our non-clinical departments like HR and Finance. In cooperation with the departmental staff you will be responsible for mapping the current processes, defining possible improvements and the requirements for our systems. Next to that you are keen to implement the change into our organization. 

 

Main responsibilities are

  • Mapping the company processes and presenting them in a way that everyone can understand what these processes are about;
  • Defining and realizing process improvement in cooperation with the departmental teams by using methods like Lean management and Six Sigma;
  • Implementation of new IT systems within our organization.
  • Performing information analysis by gathering and defining the functional requirements of software and acting as communicator between the operational teams and IT.

 

Requirements

  • Higher or academic level of education;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • At least three years of experience working as a consultant or in a similar setting;
  • Knowledge of project management and methods like Lean or Six Sigma is a pre;
  • Preferably the candidate is familiar processes and software within HR, Finance or both;
  • Accuracy;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Customer focus;
  • Creativity;
  • Flexibility;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
